The Organisation

Together for Inclusion international (TOFI) is an International  humanitarian organisation, founded in 1980. 

The General Secretariat and the Executive Management Team

The Executive Management Team, under the leadership of the Secretary General, is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations and affairs of TOFI. The Secretary General is appointed by the Board of Directors and serves as the chief executive officer responsible for implementing the organization’s policies, strategies, and decisions.

Secretary General Caroline Brady​

Prior to joining Together for Inclusion International, Caroline Brady built a distinguished career in international diplomacy, development cooperation, and humanitarian affairs, serving in a number of senior leadership positions.

Her key positions included State Secretary for Development Policy in which position she directed the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), managing international development and humanitarian policies and initiatives.

Director Regional Bureau for East, Horn & Great Lakes

 Mr. Ibrahim Sheikh Ali serves as the TOFI Director Regional Bureau for East , Horn & Great Lakes, a position he assumed in January 2024. He is a seasoned humanitarian professional with more than 15 years of experience in humanitarian and protection programming, spanning field operations, regional leadership, and headquarters-level assignments.

Member organisations, the Council and the Board of Directors

Together for Inclusion international is an umbrella organisation, including member organisations and volunteer groups. National or humanitarian organizations are eligible for the Together for Inclusion International. However, all member organizations must be non-political.

The Council is the supreme authority of Together for Inclusion International . The Council includes the following:

  • Up to three representatives of each member organisation
  • Six representatives from volunteer groups cooperating with TOFI in Canada
  • The Board of Directors members

The Board of Directors has the overall responsibility for the overall management of the Together for Inclusion International . The chairperson of the Board of Directors is elected by the Council.
